What is in this gallery?
The gallery collects photos from our own jobs on terraces, yards, paths, steps and gazebo areas. Alongside finished surfaces you will see slabs being placed by hand on a grit bed, a slab tapped level with a rubber mallet, an angled cut where two slabs meet and jointing material being brushed in. Those images show the care that goes into a surface before it looks finished.
Each photo carries a short caption. For descriptions grouped by type of work, see the projects page, and for how each surface is built, the service pages on paved terraces and barbecue and gazebo areas, which explain the layers hidden under each finish.
How can you send us photos of your own garden?
Send us a photo and the approximate m² – free, no-obligation quote. A wide shot of the area, a couple of close-ups of the current surface and one picture of the route from the street are usually enough for a useful first reply, wherever you are living at the moment.
