Do we work everywhere in the province of Málaga?
Yes. Our base is in Marbella, at Avenida Antonio Belón, and we accept terrace, patio, pool surround, garden path, barbecue area and outdoor step jobs in every municipality of the province. Distance changes how we organise visits and deliveries, not whether we take the job. That is why the first assessment is always made from your photos, wherever the property is.
Sixteen municipalities have their own pages: the fourteen coastal ones from Manilva to Nerja, plus Benahavís and Ojén. Each of those pages explains the named areas, access questions and paperwork specific to the place. If your town is not linked below, the paved terraces and pool surrounds service pages describe the work in full, and the process for a quote is exactly the same.
Which municipalities belong to each comarca?
The list below follows the comarca division in our location data, which uses the Junta de Andalucía order of 2003 where a citation was found and the Diputación de Málaga division otherwise. Where the two disagree, the note under each comarca says so. Linked names lead to our local pages; every comarca also links to its paving hub on our sister site.
Costa del Sol Occidental (9 municipalities)
Nine municipalities, from Manilva to Torremolinos along the Senda Litoral. All of them except Benahavís are coastal, and each one has its own page on this site with the named areas we have sourced for it. Wider background on materials and bases is on the Costa del Sol Occidental paving hub.
Málaga-Costa del Sol (1 municipality)
A comarca made up of a single municipality, the provincial capital, which its town hall divides into eleven districts. Our Málaga page lists example barrios in each district. Wider background on materials and bases is on the Málaga-Costa del Sol paving hub.
Axarquía (31 municipalities)
Thirty-one municipalities. Five of them, Algarrobo, Nerja, Rincón de la Victoria, Torrox and Vélez-Málaga, reach the coast and have their own pages here; for the other twenty-six, send us photos and we confirm the job by message. Wider background on materials and bases is on the Axarquía paving hub.

How do we handle jobs in inland municipalities?
In the same way as on the coast, with a little more planning. If your house is in the countryside or in a village with narrow streets, tell us how a van reaches the property, where material could be unloaded and how the old surface could leave. With that, we can say whether deliveries need a smaller vehicle and how the work should be staged.
The town hall procedure for outdoor paving differs between municipalities; under the Andalusian LISTA law many minor works without a project go through a responsible declaration, but the local ordinance sets the exact route for your job, and we suggest confirming it with the town hall before work starts. When you are ready, send us a photo and the approximate m² – free, no-obligation quote.
Frequently asked questions
Do you really work in all 103 municipalities of Málaga?
Yes. We accept outdoor paving jobs throughout the province. Distance affects how we plan the survey and the deliveries, so we always start from photos to confirm the scope before travelling.
Why do only sixteen towns have their own page?
Because those are the municipalities where we can describe named areas, typical situations and paperwork in useful detail. The service itself is identical elsewhere, and the service pages explain each type of work in full.
What is a comarca?
A comarca is a grouping of neighbouring municipalities used for planning and administration. The province of Málaga has nine. They have no role in your paving permit, which always depends on the town hall of the municipality where the property is.
Why do some sources place Ojén or Istán in a different comarca?
Because the Junta de Andalucía and the Diputación de Málaga use slightly different divisions, and some references are unsourced. We follow the assignment recorded in our location data and note the disagreement where it exists.
Is Calahonda in Marbella or Mijas?
Sitio de Calahonda is in the municipality of Mijas, so it is covered on our Mijas page. Its paperwork goes through the Mijas town hall rather than Marbella's, even though many people associate the name with Marbella.
Do you charge more for remote villages?
Distance and access are among the factors that affect any quote, together with area, base condition, slope and material. Our sister site lists the factors that move the price; we explain them in our written quote.
Can you quote for a property in the Serranía de Ronda from photos?
We can give a written description of the scope from good photos and approximate measurements. A site visit then confirms levels, ground and access before the final quote, as it would anywhere else in the province.
Which town hall handles a property near a municipal boundary?
The one in whose territory the plot lies, which your deeds or property tax receipt will show. Places such as El Paraíso or El Higuerón straddle boundaries, so it is worth checking before any application.
Where can I read more about paving in a particular comarca?
Each comarca in the list links to its hub on our sister site for block paving, which covers materials, bases and replacement for that area. This site concentrates on terraces, patios, pool areas and gardens.
What should I send for a job outside the linked towns?
Photos from several angles, a close-up of the existing surface, rough dimensions and a description of the access route. Add the municipality and, if relevant, the name of the urbanización, and we reply in English.
