What do these project photos show?
The photos come from our own outdoor paving work and cover the kinds of surfaces this site deals with: stone floors for barbecue and gazebo areas, yards and patios beside houses, steps and garden paths. Several show work in progress, such as slabs being bedded or joints being filled, because those stages say more about quality than a finished surface does.
For a fuller explanation of each type of work, the service pages describe barbecue and gazebo areas, patios and porches, garden paths and outdoor steps in detail, including how the base and edges are built under each surface and which details matter most.
Why are no places, dates or clients given?
Many of the homes we work on are private residences or second homes, and their owners prefer not to have them identified online. We therefore leave out addresses, towns, dates, client names and measurements, and describe only the material, the format and the stage of work visible in each photo.
If you want to know whether we have laid a surface similar to the one you have in mind, ask when you send your photos. We can then talk through a method suited to your own garden, which is more useful than a list of past addresses.
How can you use these photos when planning your garden?
Use them to compare materials and finishes side by side: blended against single-colour pavers, large slabs against smaller blocks, rustic stone against regular units. Note how each surface meets walls, fences and steps, because those junctions are where the look of a finished job is decided.
When you are ready, send us a photo and the approximate m² – free, no-obligation quote. Pictures of the area from a few angles, plus the access route, help us reply with something concrete about your own project and its likely approach.

Frequently asked questions
Are all the photos on this page from your own work?
Yes. The photos on this page were taken on our own outdoor paving jobs. They are not stock images or manufacturer pictures. Each description states only what can be seen in the photo, without adding details about the property or the owner.
Can I see a surface like these in person?
We do not arrange visits to clients' homes, out of respect for their privacy. We can bring samples of pavers, slabs or stone to your property so you can see the colour and texture in your own light, which is usually more helpful for deciding.
Can you lay the same paver shown in a photo?
Often, if the product is still available from suppliers. Send us the photo you like with your enquiry and we will tell you whether the format and colour can be sourced, or suggest a close alternative if it has been discontinued.
